Age Restrictions:

  • There is no age restriction for participants. However, children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Payments will be processed through Square.

  • Each pottery item is priced individually, and the total price includes the item fee and applicable taxes.

Payment:

  • We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations.

  • Refunds will only be issued in the event that an item is destroyed due to the fault of The Hip Kiln or its employees.

Materials and Equipment:

  • All necessary materials for pottery painting are provided by The Hip Kiln.

  • Outside materials are not permitted.

Session Duration:

  • A typical pottery painting session lasts for two hours.

  • While there is no fee for exceeding this time, The Hip Kiln reserves the right to refuse service to customers arriving within the hour before closing to prevent patrons from regularly exceeding closing hours.

Safety Precautions:

  • The Hip Kiln takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants and their artwork.

Storage and Pickup:

  • Completed items are stored securely on-site and are fired in our private kiln weekly.

  • Customers will be notified via text message when their item is ready for pickup.

  • Items must be picked up within 30 days of notification. Shipping is available upon request, and shipping fees apply.

Lost or Damaged Items:

  • The Hip Kiln is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

Intellectual Property:

  • The Hip Kiln does not claim any intellectual property rights over the artwork created by participants.
